What we do:

We Specialize in Architechtural Hardware and Locks plus a lot of ordinary Ironmongery, Tools, Consumables, Domestic Hardware, Plumbing and Electrical Accessories.
Ye Olde Iron & Lock Shoppe has been serving the people of East Kent for almost 20 years now with all their basic hardware needs and we specialize in all those difficult to find items that most supermarkets can't be bothered to stock.
Our staff are experts at translating our customers requests no matter how vague into actual hardware.

How to find us:

From the A253(Canterbury Road West)After passing Manston Airport, at the next pair of roundabouts (known as Lord of the Manor) follow the signs towards Ramsgate, along Canterbury Road East. At the next (Chilton)roundabout turn left up Nethercourt Hill to St Lawrence High St. At the next tiny roundabout by the church go straight ahead for about half a mile through two sets of trafficlights (not counting panda crossings). After you see Aldi on the right and a Recreation Ground on the left Turn right at the next set of traffic lights into King Street. Third turning on the right by the florists is Brunswick Street. Turn right here and we are immediately on the right just after the corner pub.

From Margate or Westwood-Cross along Margate road, under the Viaduct, turning left into Boundary road at the trafic lights, down to Aldi and the rec. Then as above Last four lines.

From Broadstairs down Hereson Rd. to the traffick lights then straight ahead into King Street, and as above.

Parking:

Disabled parking for two cars directly outside of our shop.
For a non disabled short stay it's cheaper to park on the hill straight ahead, otherwise you just cannot possibly miss the Staffordshire Strret Car Park immediately to the left. If you don't mind a walk go up the hill and turn right into Hardres Street, Theres usually a free parkig space somwhere along here even if you have to go all the way along to the Rec. Of course you can always chance it on the double yellow lines if you have to load up. But please don't use up a disabled place if you are not disabled. They (The Traffic Wardens and the disabled ) don't like it at all.
